Mon, April 24, 2006 - 7:22 AMAlas no...
the best adaptation i've ever seen was in moscow - performed at bulgakov's house on his birthday and performed by students from mgu. we ran from room to room and they re-enacted scenes that in theory take place in those rooms. incredibly well done and a blast. the graffitti leading up to the top floor where he lived is amazing and some of it quite interesting... what i wouldn't give to go back and see it again... -

Wed, April 26, 2006 - 10:50 AMI saw it, it was the one with the all black set design, and you had to fill in the detals for yourself. Agreed, a very good performance. -

Thu, April 27, 2006 - 4:12 PMalright! I knew there was someone who has seen it, what made it extra awesome is that when i first sat in the 'theater' i was like 'this is gonna suck' and then it was so good i totally forgot that it was in this tiny theater with minimal props. -
