He then goes on a riff about a couple of other books with "stretched" realism, including Master/Margarita.

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;I picked up the book at a friend's recommendation, and found it extremely puzzling about half way through.  I did no prior research other than my knowledge of the Rolling Stones' "Sympathy for the Devil."

&lt;br/&gt;Now that I've done some research, I plan on picking it up again.
